About the Role
As a Cultural Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance and expand our outreach efforts to diverse communities. Your primary focus will be on creating educational initiatives, partnerships, and training programs that embrace multicultural perspectives within the film industry.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential collaborations with educational institutions, community organizations, and training centers to create impactful programs
- Design and organize workshops, seminars, and conferences that promote cultural diversity and inclusivity in film
- Develop educational materials and resources to support training initiatives
- Establish networks with key stakeholders in the education and training sectors to foster long-term partnerships
- Conduct research and analyze industry trends to provide insights for the development of innovative programs
- Manage budgets, grants, and funding applications related to educational initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate the success of programs, collecting feedback and implementing improvements
Requirements:
- Strong background in education, cultural studies, or a related field
- Prior experience in project management, preferably in an educational or training context
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences
- Understanding of current issues and challenges within the film industry related to cultural diversity and inclusivity
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
