As a Geospatial Solutions Specialist at RISLS, you will play a pivotal role in driving our technology-forward approach, leveraging cutting-edge methods to enhance the precision and efficiency of our surveying processes.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced geospatial tools and techniques to support surveying projects
- Develop and maintain geodatabases, maps, and survey plans
- Collaborate with survey teams to optimize field data collection processes
- Implement quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable survey data
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in geospatial sciences
- Provide technical training and support for staff on geospatial software and equipment
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for geospatial data management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Geography, Geospatial Science, or related field
- Proven experience in geospatial data management and analysis
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with GPS, total stations, and other surveying instruments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies
