Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce is seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Curriculum Development Specialist.

As a member of our organization, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of educational programs focused on fostering workforce development and advancing professional skill sets within our local community.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop innovative curriculum content for professional development workshops and training programs.
Collaborate with industry professionals and educators to ensure curriculum aligns with current industry standards and best practices.
Create and maintain assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of curriculum programs.
Research and stay updated on the latest educational trends and methodologies to enhance program offerings.
Assist in the coordination of workshops and training events, including logistical and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as organizational development, instructional design, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational content creation.
Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
