At John Flynn Private Hospital, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone feels valued and respected. We are currently seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Community Health and Well-being Coordinator.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will facilitate workshops and programs that promote health education and wellness within our diverse community.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver educational programs addressing health and well-being concerns within culturally diverse populations
Cultivate collaborative partnerships with community organizations to provide resources and support to individuals from multicultural backgrounds
Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives and implement improvements based on feedback and data analysis
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cultural sensitivities and health disparities to ensure programs are tailored to the needs of the community

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience in community engagement, education, or public health within diverse cultural settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Passion for promoting well-being and health equity in a multicultural environment
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Understanding of social determinants of health and their impact on diverse communities
