We are seeking a driven and environmentally conscious individual to join our team as an Environmental Impact Analyst at Chemical Bank, based in Michigan, United States. As an Environmental Impact Analyst, you will play a significant role in assessing and minimizing the environmental impacts of our operations, helping us promote sustainable practices and fulfilling our corporate social responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough environmental impact assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards, working closely with regulatory agencies as necessary.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into various business operations and initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to the organization in implementing environmentally responsible strategies and initiatives.
Conduct research on emerging environmental issues and industry best practices, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on environmental performance metrics, outlining areas for improvement and progress made.
Participate in community outreach and environmental education programs to enhance public awareness and engagement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated understanding of environmental regulations and standards.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration and engagement.
Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to corporate social responsibility.
Previous experience in environmental impact assessment or related areas is a plus.
Relevant certifications such as LEED or similar credentials are desirable.
