Your Role:

Position: Career Development Specialist

Job Type: Full-time
Contract Duration: 2 years (Renewable)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities:

Design and implement career development programs and initiatives
Conduct training sessions on career planning, skill development, and job search techniques
Provide individual coaching and guidance to employees on their career goals
Assess training needs and develop educational materials
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create networking and mentorship opportunities
Evaluate the effectiveness of career development initiatives and recommend improvements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in career development, talent management, or related fields
Strong knowledge of career planning strategies and vocational guidance techniques
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment
Proficiency in English (knowledge of other UN languages is an advantage)
Experience with the use of career assessment tools is desirable
Willingness to travel, if required
