Position:

Sustainable Development Specialist

Your Role:

Contribute to the design and implementation of sustainable development programs and initiatives at CERN.
Collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for sustainable practices and energy-efficient solutions throughout the organization.
Develop and deliver training programs to promote environmental awareness and responsible resource management.
Conduct research and analysis to measure the impact of CERN's activities on the environment and propose strategies for improvement.
Engage with external stakeholders, including government bodies, NGOs, and local communities, to establish partnerships for sustainable development projects.
Monitor and report on the progress of sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Your Profile:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, or equivalent.
Proven experience in designing and implementing sustainable development strategies.
Excellent knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct in-depth research on sustainability topics.
Effective communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and deliver training programs.
Passion for promoting sustainable practices and making a positive impact on society.
