World Food Programme (WFP) Kenya is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual for the position of Multiple Cultures Coordinator. This position focuses on fostering inclusivity, diversity, and cultural sensitivity within our organization.

Your Role:

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote cultural diversity and inclusion throughout the organization.
  • Organize and lead cultural awareness training programs for staff members.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure diversity is considered in recruitment and talent management processes.
  • Create platforms for employees to share their cultural experiences, fostering a sense of belonging.
  • Advise management on cultural sensitivities in project planning and implementation.
  • Establish partnerships with external organizations to promote cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Social Sciences, Intercultural Studies, etc.).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in diversity and inclusion programs, cross-cultural training, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cultural competency concepts, inclusion strategies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage individuals across diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other related software.
