Position: Avian Education Specialist

Are you ready to embark on a thrilling adventure into the avian world? We are seeking a passionate Avian Education Specialist to join our team. As an Avian Education Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering captivating educational programs and fostering an appreciation for exotic birds of all kinds.

Responsibilities

Create and deliver educational presentations, workshops, and interactive sessions that highlight the unique characteristics and behaviors of exotic birds.
Develop age-appropriate educational materials and curricula to engage diverse audiences, including school groups, families, and enthusiasts.
Assist in the care and maintenance of our avian inhabitants, ensuring their well-being and providing enrichment activities.
Participate in outreach programs and collaborate with other educational institutions to promote avian conservation efforts.
Conduct research to stay up-to-date with current avian-related scientific discoveries and incorporate them into educational programs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make improvements based on feedback and assessment results.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Zoology, Ecology, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing and delivering educational programs, preferably in an informal learning environment.
Possess in-depth knowledge of avian biology, behavior, and conservation.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage diverse audiences.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
A passion for wildlife conservation and a commitment to promoting environmental stewardship.
