Rogaland Society for Environmental Conservation is seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Sustainability Educator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact by educating communities about sustainable practices and fostering an environmentally conscious mindset.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver educational programs focused on sustainability and environmental conservation.
Collaborate with schools, organizations, and community groups to create tailored workshops and training sessions.
Design engaging and interactive materials, including presentations, activities, and learning resources.
Facilitate group discussions and activities to enhance participants' understanding and engagement in sustainable practices.
Stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in sustainability education to continuously improve our programs.
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of our initiatives, making adjustments as necessary.
Mentor and support volunteers and team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Passionate about environmental sustainability and conservation.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, biology, sustainable development).
Proven experience in curriculum development and delivering educational programs.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt content for various audiences.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Fluency in both written and spoken Norwegian (proficiency in English is a plus).
