Connecticut Audubon Society is on the lookout for individuals passionate about wildlife conservation and environmental education. We are seeking a Wildlife Conservation Advocate to join our dynamic team in Connecticut. The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of environmental expertise, educational innovation, and a dedication to creating meaningful impact.

Role Overview:

  • Develop and lead engaging educational programs promoting wildlife conservation and environmental awareness
  • Collaborate with diverse communities and stakeholders to drive conservation initiatives
  • Utilize digital platforms to innovate and enhance educational outreach efforts
  • Contribute to research and strategic planning for long-term conservation projects
  • Act as a spokesperson at educational events, and represent the organization in various wildlife conservation forums

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing community educational programs or equivalent initiatives
  • Proven passion for wildlife conservation and environmental advocacy
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently to drive impactful change
  • Experience leveraging digital technology for educational purposes is a plus
