Connecticut Audubon Society is on the lookout for individuals passionate about wildlife conservation and environmental education. We are seeking a Wildlife Conservation Advocate to join our dynamic team in Connecticut. The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of environmental expertise, educational innovation, and a dedication to creating meaningful impact.

Role Overview:

Develop and lead engaging educational programs promoting wildlife conservation and environmental awareness
Collaborate with diverse communities and stakeholders to drive conservation initiatives
Utilize digital platforms to innovate and enhance educational outreach efforts
Contribute to research and strategic planning for long-term conservation projects
Act as a spokesperson at educational events, and represent the organization in various wildlife conservation forums

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, etc.)
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing community educational programs or equivalent initiatives
Proven passion for wildlife conservation and environmental advocacy
Excellent communication and public speaking skills
Ability to work collaboratively and independently to drive impactful change
Experience leveraging digital technology for educational purposes is a plus
