Role Overview:
As a Senior Learning and Development Manager at Sandvik AB, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive learning and development strategies to support the growth and success of our organization. Your primary focus will be on creating and delivering high-quality training programs that align with our business objectives and meet the needs of our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a strategic learning and development plan to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Identify training needs and develop appropriate programs to address them.
- Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including e-learning modules, videos, and workshops.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and validate training materials.
- Deliver impactful training sessions using a variety of methods, such as classroom instruction, virtual learning, and on-the-job training.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in learning and development.
- Manage a team of learning and development professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in learning and development or a related field.
- Demonstrated track record of designing and delivering successful training programs.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven leadership abilities and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
