About SUMA:
Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association (SUMA) is seeking a dynamic leader for the role of Excelsior Learning Program Director. This pivotal position is designed to drive educational strategies, transform initiatives, and enhance the knowledge ecosystem within our urban municipalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative educational programs tailored to the needs of urban environments
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training gaps and design cutting-edge learning interventions
- Lead a team of educators and administrators to ensure program efficiency and effectiveness
- Evaluate program outcomes, collect feedback, and continuously improve learning methodologies
- Establish partnerships with educational institutions, industry experts, and government bodies to enrich the learning experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in designing and implementing educational programs
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams
- Knowledge of municipal governance or urban planning would be an asset
