Welcome to the North Carolina Office of the State Auditor - a diverse and inclusive community where every individual is valued for their unique contributions. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join us as an Empowerment Advocate for Inclusive Learning.

As an Empowerment Advocate, you will play a vital role in fostering a culture of acceptance and understanding within our educational programs. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all learners, regardless of background or identity, have access to high-quality educational resources and support.

Responsibilities:

Implement strategies to promote diversity and inclusion in educational initiatives
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop inclusive learning materials and programs
Provide guidance and support to educators on creating culturally responsive teaching practices
Evaluate the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion efforts and recommend improvements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field
Demonstrated experience in promoting diversity and inclusion
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
Passion for advocating for underrepresented groups in education
