Role Overview:

Engage with local communities to foster positive relationships and trust with the police force
Develop and implement educational programs for schools and community groups
Organize and lead training sessions and workshops for police officers on community engagement techniques

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate community needs and concerns to develop tailored engagement strategies
Establish and maintain partnerships with local organizations, schools, and businesses
Create and distribute educational materials related to safety, crime prevention, and community policing
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance community outreach initiatives
Provide guidance and support to officers in interactions with diverse social and cultural groups

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Sociology, Psychology, or similar
Proven background in community engagement, education, or related fields
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and individuals
Demonstrated experience in program development and delivery
