Tishomingo County School District is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Diversity and Inclusion Specialist. As the Diversity and Inclusion Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering an inclusive workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement, and developing initiatives that promote diversity and equity.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives.
Collaborate with department heads to support diverse hiring practices.
Conduct training sessions on bias, diversity, and inclusion topics.
Advise on accommodations for employees with disabilities.
Analyze diversity metrics and provide reports to senior management.
Stay informed about best practices and trends in diversity and inclusion.
Work with community organizations to advance diversity-related initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Sociology, or related field.
Demonstrated experience in diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Strong understanding of equal employment opportunity laws and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Passion for driving positive change and promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion.
