We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team at KZN Blind and Deaf Society Sports Program in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. We are looking for someone who embodies the spirit of multiculturalism and inclusivity to serve as a Multicultural Community Development Coordinator.
About Us:

Through our Sports Program, we aim to empower and support individuals who are blind or deaf through various sports activities, fostering their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with diverse communities, organizations, and businesses
- Collaborate with community leaders to identify construction and real estate opportunities conducive to our programs
- Organize events and initiatives that promote cultural understanding and inclusivity
- Facilitate cross-cultural communication and teamwork among program participants
- Contribute to the planning and execution of fundraising events to support our Sports Program
- Assist in the development of accessible facilities for our sports activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in community development, event planning, or project management
- Strong understanding of the construction and real estate industry
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and individuals
- Demonstrated passion for promoting multiculturalism and inclusivity
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
