Join Our Team - Sustainability Advocate

We are searching for a dedicated individual to fill the role of Sustainability Advocate. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing sustainable practices within our organization's operations. Your focus will be on promoting eco-friendly initiatives, reducing waste, and supporting ethical sourcing in the food and hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sustainable strategies for our organization, focusing on minimizing environmental impact while maintaining high operational standards.
Evaluate and improve our supply chain to ensure responsible sourcing and reduce our carbon footprint.
Collaborate with internal teams to implement energy-efficient practices and reduce waste throughout our operation.
Stay updated on industry best practices for sustainability and implement relevant initiatives within the organization.
Liaise with local communities and organizations to contribute to environmental initiatives and promote sustainable practices.
Monitor and report on our sustainability initiatives, providing regular updates to management and staff.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a service industry role, with a strong understanding of operational requirements and customer service expectations.
Demonstrated passion for environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively advocate for sustainable practices.
Strong organizational and project management abilities to implement and oversee sustainability initiatives across various departments.
Ability to analyze data and metrics to track the success of sustainability efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
Knowledge of local and national sustainability regulations and certifications is an advantage.
A bachelor's degree in environmental studies, sustainability management, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
