Position:

We are currently seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Natural Landscape Steward. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the integrity of Utrecht's natural landscape. You will play a pivotal role in promoting sustainable land use, preserving natural habitats, and ensuring the responsible management of our valuable environmental resources.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies for the conservation and enhancement of Utrecht's natural landscape
Conduct research and assessments to monitor changes in the environment and geological features
Collaborate with local stakeholders to promote sustainable land development and resource management
Advise on planning and development projects to ensure the integrity and preservation of natural resources
Utilize data and mapping tools to create reports and visual representations of geological and environmental findings
Stay informed about relevant environmental regulations and policies to ensure compliance and promote best practices

Requirements:

A degree in Earth Sciences, Environmental Management, Geography, or related field
Proven experience in environmental and geological research and management
Strong understanding of local flora, fauna, and geological formations
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in GIS, remote sensing, and other relevant mapping and analysis tools
A passion for environmental conservation and sustainable development
