Culinary Experience Curator

We are seeking an individual with a passion for exploring, understanding, and promoting the rich culinary heritage of Catalonia. As a Culinary Experience Curator, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with local experts, chefs, and cultural enthusiasts to curate unforgettable dining experiences that celebrate the region's diverse food traditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Research, identify, and collaborate with local producers, culinary artisans, and craftsmen to source authentic ingredients and specialized kitchen tools
Create and oversee immersive dining experiences that showcase traditional and contemporary Catalan cuisine
Develop and maintain relationships with local restaurants, wineries, and food festivals to promote Catalonia's diverse culinary landscape
Contribute to the overall guest experience by providing insight into the cultural significance and historical context of Catalan dishes, ingredients, and culinary techniques
Stay updated on culinary trends and innovations to ensure that our experiences remain fresh, engaging, and relevant
Collaborate with the research team at Catalan Institute of Cultural Heritage Research (IPHES) to integrate historical and archaeological insights into culinary experiences

Qualifications:

Passionate about Catalan gastronomy, cultural heritage, and local traditions
Proven experience in culinary arts, gastronomic research, or related fields
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with local culinary experts and artisans
Ability to work independently, think creatively, and adapt to evolving culinary landscapes
Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, and English is preferred
Previous experience in project management or event coordination is a plus
