Job Opening: Urban Development Coordinator

As the Urban Development Coordinator at IPU, you will play a crucial role in fostering stronger ties between parliaments worldwide and influencing construction and real estate policies and practices through dialogue and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include leveraging your expertise in urban planning, sustainable development, and architecture to create innovative strategies that promote inclusive urban development, sustainable infrastructure, and environmentally conscious real estate practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with parliamentary members to advocate for urban development initiatives
Lead collaborative projects that promote sustainable and inclusive urban designs
Research and analyze global urban development trends and policies
Develop frameworks for constructive dialogue on construction and real estate regulations and standards
Facilitate workshops and forums to exchange best practices in urban development

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field
Proven experience in urban development and sustainable construction initiatives
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
Ability to think strategically and influence policy discussions
Proficiency in multilateral diplomacy and cross-cultural collaboration
