Your Role

As a Public Health Advocate, you will play a pivotal role in implementing proactive strategies to improve health outcomes in Pennsylvania. Your main responsibilities will include:

Engaging with community organizations, government agencies, and healthcare providers to develop collaborative health initiatives.
Identifying and addressing health disparities and inequities within diverse populations.
Educating the public about preventive measures and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Advocating for evidence-based policies that enhance public health.
Collecting and analyzing health data to inform decision-making processes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

A Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Health, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
A deep understanding of public health principles and their application.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in community outreach and engagement programs.
The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
