Key Responsibilities:

Devise and implement comprehensive strategies for infrastructure development, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and government policies
Oversee the management of major construction projects, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
Drive innovation and sustainability initiatives within infrastructure development, seeking ways to integrate eco-friendly practices
Evaluate and seek opportunities for partnership and collaboration to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of infrastructure projects
Represent Rijkswaterstaat at industry events, fostering relationships and advocating for the organization's vision in infrastructure development

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field; advanced degree preferred
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale infrastructure development projects within the public sector
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, environmental considerations, and budget management
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams
Strategic mindset and the capability to navigate complex organizational and political landscapes
