Role Overview: As a Culinary Sustainability Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable strategies within our culinary operations. Your role will involve assessing the environmental impact of our food and beverage services, sourcing sustainable ingredients, and designing eco-friendly practices to minimize waste and energy consumption.

Key Responsibilities:

Researching and sourcing sustainable, local, and organic food products
Collaborating with kitchen staff to develop environmentally friendly menu options
Implementing waste reduction strategies and optimizing resource usage
Evaluating and improving energy efficiency in food preparation and storage
Continuously monitoring and assessing the environmental impact of culinary activities
Assisting in the development and promotion of sustainable dining initiatives

Requirements:

Proven experience in sustainable food practices within a culinary environment
Strong knowledge of sustainable sourcing and environmentally conscious culinary techniques
Excellent understanding of environmental impact assessment and measurement
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and departments
