Akureyri Community Environmental Group is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our team in Northeastern Region, Iceland. Position: Community Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and coordinating community-focused construction and development projects
Collaborating with local stakeholders to identify and address environmental and community development needs
Implementing sustainable solutions that contribute to the region's overall development
Providing expertise on real estate initiatives related to environmental conservation and community enhancement
Developing and managing projects aimed at enhancing the region's environmental and community infrastructure

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or community development
Demonstrated understanding of environmental regulations and sustainable construction practices
Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse community stakeholders
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
