As a Community Development Strategist, you will spearhead projects that focus on sustainable urban planning, local engagement, and the enhancement of public spaces. Your role will involve collaborating with local authorities, stakeholders, and nonprofits to develop strategies that positively impact the cultural, social, and economic development of our region.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead community-focused design initiatives that foster inclusivity and sustainability.
Partner with local government officials and organizations to align strategies with public policy and community needs.
Engage in participatory planning processes to gather insights and feedback from various community members.
Develop and implement projects that enhance the built environment, public infrastructure, and neighborhood connectivity.
Oversee the evaluation and optimization of ongoing initiatives to ensure their long-term impact and success.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Public Policy, or a related field.
Proven experience in community development, urban revitalization, or sustainable design projects.
Strong understanding of local governance structures and nonprofit organizations, as well as their influence on community development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management and the ability to drive initiatives from concept to implementation.
A creative mindset and a passion for promoting social and environmental sustainability.
