Bungoma District Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Sustainable Resource Management Specialist to join our dedicated team. We are committed to advancing environmental sustainability and fostering a culture of responsibility towards our community and surroundings.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable resource management strategies to minimize environmental impact.
Conduct environmental assessments and make recommendations for resource conservation and efficient use.
Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainability practices into daily operations.
Identify and pursue opportunities for energy efficiency and waste reduction.
Stay informed about environmental regulations and ensure compliance with local and national standards.
Educate and train staff on sustainable resource management best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field.
Proven experience in sustainable resource management or a related area.
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve sustainability goals.
Demonstrated commitment to community and environmental stewardship.
