Position: Community Solutions Specialist

Location: North Carolina

Job Description:

Collaborate with local government agencies and community organizations to develop innovative transportation solutions that align with our mission of quality, sustainability, and community service.
Identify and pursue funding opportunities in partnership with local and state government entities for community-based projects.
Lead and support public initiatives aimed at promoting sustainability and community engagement through innovative transportation solutions.
Provide expertise and guidance to nonprofit and community organizations to enhance their transportation initiatives.
Contribute to the development of forward-thinking strategies for community development through transportation services.
Maintain strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders including nonprofit organizations, local government representatives, and community leaders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in government relations, community outreach, or nonprofit management.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing community-centered transportation initiatives.
Proven ability to cultivate and sustain partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Passion for innovation and sustainability in the context of community service and nonprofit initiatives.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
