At Louisville Metro Department of Sustainability, we are committed to preserving our environment and maximizing our impact on our community. We are currently seeking a passionate individual to join our team as an Environmental Stewardship and Sustainable Development Specialist.

Position Overview:

Lead initiatives focused on sustainability, environmental stewardship, and community impact
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on sustainable development projects
Advocate for and promote environmentally responsible practices within the community
Educate and engage the public on sustainable living and environmental protection
Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability strategies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Sustainability, or a related field
Experience in project management with a focus on sustainable development
Strong communication and advocacy skills with a passion for environmental conservation
Ability to analyze and interpret environmental data and trends
Demonstrated commitment to social responsibility and community engagement
