Job Opening: Creative Storyteller and Engagement Specialist

Save the Children South Africa in Gauteng is seeking a vibrant and creative individual to fill the role of Creative Storyteller and Engagement Specialist. This position offers the opportunity to harness the power of storytelling and engagement to drive impactful change and promote the vision of Save the Children South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing creative storytelling strategies across various media platforms
Producing compelling and emotive content for digital and traditional media
Engaging with diverse audiences through innovative communication initiatives
Collaborating with internal teams to align storytelling with organizational goals
Monitoring trends and audience feedback to continuously improve storytelling efforts
Building and nurturing relationships with media partners and influencers
Contributing to the development of communication materials, including press releases, articles, and reports
Participating in the planning and execution of outreach events and campaigns

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
Proven experience in storytelling, content creation, or media engagement
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in digital media tools and platforms
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Passionate about children's rights and humanitarian causes
Ability to think creatively and strategically
