Olin Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and articulate individual to join our team as a Corporate Communications Specialist. This key role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic internal and external communications initiatives that support our business objectives and enhance our corporate reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communication strategies to effectively convey the company's messages to both internal and external audiences.
- Create engaging content for various platforms, including press releases, articles, social media, and internal communications.
- Collaborate with marketing, public relations, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage; prepare and distribute media briefs.
- Act as a spokesperson for the company as needed.
- Manage crisis communications and provide support in sensitive situations.
- Support executive leadership in crafting presentations and speeches.
- Oversee the production of internal newsletters and other employee communications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven track record in corporate communications or related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in digital and social media platforms.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle sensitive issues with discretion.
- Experience in crisis communications is a plus.
