As a vital part of our organization, you will play a key role in fostering community relationships and promoting our mission to support local artisans and craftsmen.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community outreach programs to engage local residents and businesses
- Collaborate with local government agencies and community organizations to advocate for the interests of artisans
- Organize and oversee community events, workshops, and educational initiatives
- Manage social media platforms and create engaging content to promote artisanal work and local culture
- Facilitate partnerships with nonprofit organizations and seek funding opportunities to support our initiatives
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials and communication strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
- Proven experience in community engagement, event planning, or nonprofit work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Passion for preserving local traditions and supporting artisanal craftsmanship
- Fluency in both English and French is preferred
