Job Overview:

Medair is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Project Manager to oversee and lead the development of real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction and real estate initiatives, with a focus on quality and efficiency. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the life-saving work of Medair by ensuring the effective development and management of real estate assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the development and construction of real estate projects in Lausanne and surrounding areas.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance to ensure successful delivery of real estate initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and local authorities, to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Provide strategic input and guidance on real estate acquisitions and development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sustainable and cost-effective real estate management strategies.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in project management within the construction or real estate industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and delivering real estate projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and best practices in real estate development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of French or another relevant language is an advantage.
