Sustainability and Community Engagement Officer

Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and socially conscious professional to join our team as a Sustainability and Community Engagement Officer. As part of our commitment to environmental stewardship and community development, this role will play a critical part in fostering sustainable practices and building meaningful connections within the Louisiana community.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainable practices within the organization
Collaborate with various departments to integrate environmentally responsible initiatives
Engage with local community leaders and organizations to create impactful partnerships
Organize and lead community outreach programs to promote sustainable living
Evaluate and report on the impact of sustainability efforts within the organization and the community
Advise on socially responsible human resource practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainable development, or related field
Experience in project management and community engagement
Passion for sustainability with a strong understanding of environmental and social issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to inspire and motivate others towards sustainable practices
Understanding of human resources and recruitment practices
