Rogaland Nature Tours, a leading name in sustainable outdoor experiences in the Agder og Rogaland region, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Professional Field Guide Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of our natural surroundings, bringing a passion for educating and leading others in exploring the diverse geological and environmental features of our area. As a Professional Field Guide Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and leading specialized tours, providing in-depth knowledge of the region's ecology, geology, and environmental conservation.

Key responsibilities:

Developing and leading educational nature excursions, catering to diverse audiences
Sharing insights and expertise on local flora, fauna, and geological formations
Ensuring the safety and well-being of tour participants during excursions
Contributing to the development of new tour programs based on industry trends and guest interests
Collaborating with the research team to stay updated on the latest environmental and geological discoveries in the region

Requirements:

A degree in Natural Sciences, Geography, Biology, or related field
Proven experience in environmental education, geological tours, or related outdoor leadership roles
Exceptional public speaking, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong knowledge of environmental conservation principles and practices
Ability to work flexibly, adapting to changing outdoor and weather conditions
