We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Facility Operations Manager at PE Cold Storage in Eastern Cape, South Africa. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization in the management and maintenance of our state-of-the-art facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our storage facilities, ensuring efficient and safe functionality
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to uphold facility standards
- Manage facility improvement projects and capital upgrades
- Supervise a team of maintenance and operations staff
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health & safety protocols
- Collaborate with other departments to meet organizational goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
- Proven experience in facilities operations and maintenance
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and health & safety standards
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
