Role: Assistant Project Manager
The Assistant Project Manager will play a vital role in our organization, primarily assisting the Project Manager in overseeing construction and real estate projects across Victoria. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering projects of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating project activities, including site inspections, budget management, and timeline adherence
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
- Review and update project documentation, progress reports, and communicate updates to relevant parties
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery
- Support the Project Manager in procurement activities, including tendering and contract management
- Prepare project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with construction codes and standards
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance project efficiency and deliverables
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience in project management within the construction or real estate industry
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
