Role: Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager will play a vital role in our organization, primarily assisting the Project Manager in overseeing construction and real estate projects across Victoria. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering projects of the highest quality.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in coordinating project activities, including site inspections, budget management, and timeline adherence
Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
Review and update project documentation, progress reports, and communicate updates to relevant parties
Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery
Support the Project Manager in procurement activities, including tendering and contract management
Prepare project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with construction codes and standards
Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance project efficiency and deliverables

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Proven experience in project management within the construction or real estate industry
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Understanding of construction codes, regulations, and industry best practices
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
