We are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our organization as a Community Engagement Specialist. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders and promoting a friendly and collaborative work environment.

Your Responsibilities:

Community Outreach: Develop and execute strategies to engage with local government bodies, nonprofit organizations, and community groups. Collaborate with these entities to identify areas for partnership and implement initiatives that align with our corporate social responsibility.
Relationship Building: Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and nonprofit representatives. Attend meetings, events, and conferences to represent our organization and establish meaningful connections.
Corporate Sponsorship: Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and manage relationships with sponsored events and initiatives. Coordinate the logistics of sponsorships, ensuring brand visibility and maximizing community impact.
Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement employee engagement initiatives and volunteer programs. Foster teamwork and promote a positive work environment that emphasizes inclusivity and mutual support.
Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze the success of community engagement efforts. Prepare regular reports highlighting key metrics and achievements. Provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.

Requirements:

Relevant Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in community engagement, public relations, or a related field. Experience working with government bodies and nonprofit organizations is highly desirable.
Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences and convey messages clearly and concisely.
Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and project management abilities. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Passion for Community: Genuine enthusiasm for community development and a strong desire to make a positive impact. Knowledge of the local context and Extremadura region is advantageous.
