As a Community Outreach Specialist at Aurora Health Care, you will play a critical role in fostering partnerships, building relationships, and promoting our organization's mission to improve the health and well-being of individuals in the community. Rather than directly using the term 'Government/Nonprofit', this position encompasses the ideals and goals commonly found in the government and nonprofit sectors.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement community outreach programs to raise awareness of our healthcare services and initiatives.
Collaborate with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to identify needs and promote synergy.
Organize and participate in community events, health fairs, and educational workshops.
Identify potential grant opportunities to support community health improvement projects.
Evaluate and report on program outcomes to demonstrate impact and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Communications, Social Work, or a related field.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Experience working with diverse populations and community organizations.
Passion for making a difference and improving community health.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
