We're Hiring: Sustainable Solutions Research Specialist

ACM Ireland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainable Solutions Research Specialist to contribute to our ongoing initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will work at the intersection of technology, science, and society, exploring innovative approaches to address environmental challenges.

Responsibilities

Conduct research and analysis on sustainable solutions in line with ACM Ireland's mission.
Collect and interpret data related to environmental issues impacting the region.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for implementing sustainable technology solutions.
Stay updated on advancements in environmental science and technologies.
Lead and participate in workshops, presentations, and knowledge-sharing events.
Produce reports, white papers, and other research-related deliverables.

Requirements

Master's or Ph.D. degree in a related field such as Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Strong understanding of sustainability concepts, environmental policies, and geospatial data analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Proven experience in conducting scientific research and producing research outputs.
Ability to work independently and in collaborative environments.
Passion for driving positive change through technology.
