At Nice Côte d'Azur Regional Cultural Development Agency, we are seeking passionate individuals to join our team and contribute to the vibrant culinary scene in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. That's why we are looking for a Heritage Gastronomy Ambassador to promote the cultural and gastronomic heritage of our region.

About the Role:

As our Heritage Gastronomy Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in raising awareness of our rich culinary traditions, sustainable dining practices, and the use of local and seasonal ingredients. You will be responsible for:

Organizing and coordinating culinary events that showcase our region's gastronomic heritage and traditions.
Collaborating with local farms and producers to ensure the use of high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients.
Developing educational programs and workshops to promote sustainable dining practices among restaurants and hotels in the region.
Working closely with chefs, restaurant owners, and hospitality professionals to encourage the adoption of environmentally-friendly practices.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

A deep passion for culinary arts, regional cuisine, and sustainability in the food industry.
Experience working in the restaurant or hotel industry, preferably in a culinary or food-related role.
Strong communication and networking skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
Knowledge of local food traditions, agricultural practices, and sustainable food systems.
An understanding of cultural heritage and the ability to develop creative ways to highlight our region's gastronomic heritage.
