Job Description

The Community Engagement Specialist will play a vital role in establishing strong relationships with various stakeholders, including local businesses, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. You will act as a liaison between the community and Spar Skatval, working to promote mutual understanding and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement community engagement strategies to raise awareness about our programs and initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders
Organize and coordinate events, workshops, and meetings to encourage community involvement
Research and analyze community needs and interests to inform project development
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and seamless execution of community-focused projects
Evaluate the impact of initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Public Administration, Community Development)
Proven experience in community engagement, project management, or related roles
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Preferred:

Master's degree in a relevant field
Experience working with government agencies or nonprofit organizations
Knowledge of local regulations and policies
Proficiency in Norwegian and English
