Job Description

The Community Engagement Specialist will play a vital role in establishing strong relationships with various stakeholders, including local businesses, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. You will act as a liaison between the community and Spar Skatval, working to promote mutual understanding and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to raise awareness about our programs and initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders
  • Organize and coordinate events, workshops, and meetings to encourage community involvement
  • Research and analyze community needs and interests to inform project development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and seamless execution of community-focused projects
  • Evaluate the impact of initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Public Administration, Community Development)
  • Proven experience in community engagement, project management, or related roles
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience working with government agencies or nonprofit organizations
  • Knowledge of local regulations and policies
  • Proficiency in Norwegian and English
