Position: Hospitality Services Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual with a passion for customer service and hospitality to join our team at Kenya National Hospital. As the Hospitality Services Manager, you will play a critical role in creating exceptional experiences for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the hospitality team and ensure the delivery of high-quality services across all hospital facilities.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance the overall hospitality experience.
- Oversee the management of dining areas, including restaurants, cafes, and patient meal services.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure prompt and efficient handling of hospitality-related requests.
- Monitor and maintain hygiene standards and follow all safety procedures.
- Manage budgets, expenses, and staff scheduling.
- Train and motivate hospitality staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Resolve guest queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement best practices for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, including food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Proficiency in using hospitality management software.
- Flexibility to work on a rotational schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Valid certification in food safety and first aid is an advantage.
