Your Role

As a Sustainable Hospitality Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping our efforts to promote environmental sustainability within our establishment. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing sustainable initiatives and practices in all areas of our hospitality operations
Minimizing our ecological footprint by reducing energy consumption, waste production, and water usage
Collaborating with local suppliers, promoting sustainable and locally sourced ingredients and products
Training and educating staff members on sustainable practices and promoting a culture of environmental consciousness
Monitoring and evaluating sustainability metrics and reporting progress to management
Engaging with visitors, sharing knowledge about our sustainable initiatives, and creating awareness

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Proven experience and a strong passion for sustainability in the hospitality industry
Knowledge of best practices in environmental sustainability, waste management, and energy conservation
An understanding of the local area, its culture, and the availability of sustainable resources
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Fluency in Italian and English (additional languages are a plus)
