About the Role:

We are currently seeking individuals with a strong interest in the intersection between geology, environmental science, and conservation. Your Responsibilities:

Conduct environmental assessments and studies to evaluate the impact of current and proposed projects.
Collect and analyze relevant data, utilizing geospatial technology and mapping tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and the public, to develop sustainable environmental policies and practices.
Identify and propose solutions to environmental challenges, focusing on the conservation and restoration of Oregon's natural resources.
Assist in the enforcement of environmental regulations and laws, ensuring compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Geology, Natural Resource Management) or equivalent work experience.
Strong understanding of environmental principles and practices.
Excellent research, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in geospatial technology and mapping software.
