Atlantic Ballet Theatre of Canada is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Specialist. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community engagement initiatives that align with our social responsibility goals.
- Collaborate with local organizations, schools, and community groups to create partnerships and programs that benefit the community.
- Organize and coordinate outreach events, workshops, and educational programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of community engagement efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and report on the company's environmental impact, suggesting strategies for eco-friendly practices.
- Manage communication channels to ensure effective information flow between the organization and the community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Community Development or Environmental Studies.
- Prior experience in community engagement, social responsibility, or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain partnerships.
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- A passion for the arts, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability.
