Position: Sustainability Coordinator

We are currently seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our dynamic team in the role of Sustainability Coordinator. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to create an environmentally conscious and resilient Nebraska. You will actively engage with diverse stakeholders, identify sustainable practices, and develop strategies for a greener future.

Your Responsibilities:

Collaborate with businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies to promote sustainable practices
Coordinate and execute environmental programs and initiatives
Research, analyze, and provide recommendations on sustainability-related projects
Create outreach materials and deliver presentations to educate the public about sustainable practices
Monitor and report on environmental trends and evaluate program effectiveness
Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within our multicultural team

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field
Knowledge of environmental regulations, energy efficiency, and renewable energy technologies
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in project management and strategic planning is preferred
