Role Overview:

As our Creative Talent Specialist, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our exceptional team. Your focus will be on recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent within the arts industry. You will work closely with our team leaders to understand their needs and expectations, developing strategic recruitment plans, and implementing innovative talent acquisition methods.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a positive and engaging candidate experience.
  • Identify creative talent acquisition channels and build a strong network of industry professionals.
  • Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to attract exceptional candidates.
  • Deploy innovative techniques to assess and select candidates effectively.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and provide advice on selection criteria.
  • Implement and optimize the applicant tracking system to streamline recruitment processes.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks, making well-informed hiring decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations to enhance our recruitment efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure Fund for the Arts remains a leader in talent acquisition.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Psychology).
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the arts industry and its talent landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and applicant tracking systems.
