We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Corporate Communications Coordinator to join our Communication/Media department.

About the Role

In the role of Corporate Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote Canad Inns' brand and key messaging.
  • Creating compelling content for various communication channels, including social media, press releases, newsletters, and internal communications.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and brand representation.
  • Monitoring and evaluating communication efforts, and providing regular reports and analysis to management.
  • Managing media relations, including building and maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets.
  • Assisting with crisis communication and handling sensitive issues in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in corporate communications, media relations, or a related role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
