Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join us as a Community Engagement Coordinator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our community through effective communication and media strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to raise awareness of our organization's mission and programs
- Create engaging content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, press releases, and website
- Collaborate with local media outlets to enhance visibility and coverage of our initiatives
- Manage relationships with community partners, volunteers, and stakeholders
- Organize and promote events, fundraisers, and campaigns to support our programs
- Monitor and analyze communication efforts, providing recommendations for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful communication strategies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and networking abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in the non-profit sector is an asset
